Accessibility
Cync is for everyone.
We are committed to making Cync accessible to people of all abilities. This page describes our accessibility standards and how to report an issue.
Our standard
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA for this website, and to meet platform accessibility guidelines (iOS and Android) for the mobile app.
Website accessibility features
- Keyboard navigation supported throughout — tab order is logical and visible focus indicators are present
- All images include descriptive alt text
- Interactive elements have descriptive ARIA labels
- Colour contrast meets WCAG AA minimums
- Motion effects are suppressed when prefers-reduced-motion is active
- Skip-to-content link at the top of every page
- Semantic HTML throughout (landmarks, headings, lists)
App accessibility features
- Full screen reader support (VoiceOver on iOS, TalkBack on Android)
- Text scaling respects system-level font size preferences
- All interactive elements have semantic labels and roles
- High-contrast mode supported
- Animations respect reduced-motion system preference
Known limitations
We are actively working to improve accessibility. Some known areas of improvement include: chart accessibility (in progress), complex data tables in advanced analytics (in progress).
