By downloading, installing, or using the Cync application or website, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use Cync.

2. Description of service

Cync provides a mobile application for cycle awareness, mood tracking, and educational health insights. Cync is an educational and reflective tool — it is not a medical device, clinical diagnostic tool, or substitute for professional healthcare.

3. Medical disclaimer

Cync does not provide medical advice. All information provided by the app — including cycle phase estimations, fertile window context, symptom correlations, and AI companion insights — is for educational and informational purposes only.

Do not use Cync as a sole method of contraception. Do not use Cync to diagnose or treat any medical condition. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional for personal medical guidance.

4. User accounts and eligibility

Cync is intended for users aged 13 and over. Users under 18 should review these terms with a parent or guardian. By creating an account, you confirm you meet the eligibility requirements.

5. Your content and data

All health data you enter into Cync remains yours. We do not claim ownership of your logged data. Our use of your data is governed by the Privacy Policy.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Attempt to reverse engineer or extract proprietary algorithms from the app
• Use the service to distribute malware or conduct unauthorised access
• Create accounts on behalf of others without their explicit consent
• Misrepresent Cync as a medical device or diagnostic service

7. Intellectual property

All Cync brand assets, code, design system, copy, and proprietary AI models are the property of Cync Technologies Ltd and protected by applicable intellectual property law.

8. Service availability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Scheduled maintenance and unexpected downtime may occur. Cync's offline-first architecture means core features are available without an internet connection.

9. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Cync is not liable for any health outcomes, medical decisions, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app. The service is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind.

10. Changes to terms

We may update these terms with notice. Material changes will be communicated via in-app notification at least 14 days in advance. Continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of updated terms.
