Background
IVF dating uses the embryo age at transfer to estimate gestational age. A commonly used formula adds a standard number of days, based on embryo age, to the transfer date to estimate the due date.
Limitations
Different clinics sometimes use slightly different conventions — confirm with your fertility team for official dating.
